Denial, goofiness, or just plan silly? Whatever New York Jets WR Brandon Marshall is doing here, it’s clear he loves Ryan Fitzpatrick.

According to NFL Media insider Ian Rapoport, New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to hit the free agent market because he and the team are “far apart” in contract talks.

Not everybody is taking the news in stride. One of these guys is Brandon Marshall, as by now the entire world understands just how much he loves his quarterback.

So, what does a man do when he learns his QB might be on the way out? How about make a made a video featuring stuffed teddy bears sporting Jets gear?

In the video (above), Marshall pretends that the bears were the dynamic Fitzpatrick-Marshall duo that put on a show for fans. This bizarre message clearly indicates he wants Mike Maccagnan and the organization to do whatever it takes to re-sign No. 14.

B-Marsh has good reason for wanting Fitzpatrick back next season.

Last season under Fitzpatrick, Marshall actually had his best season of his career in his first year with the Jets. In 2015, Marshall caught 109 passes and totaled 1,502 yards receiving, which were both Jets single-season records. He also collected 14 touchdowns, which tied a franchise record.

Weird? Yeah. Funny? A little. Effective? We shall see.

Other than God, sports are my biggest love. My teams are the Mets, Knicks, NY Giants, NY Rangers and St Johns basketball (St. John's alumni). I especially love the Mets like crazy, more than any other team and seeing them win the World Series would be a dream come true and definitely the best sports moment. The Knicks are a close second. I also like to write, so combine that with my passion for sports equals a perfect scenario, I would love to do sports writing long term. If not that, then probably sports broadcasting, cause I love to talk sports as well. In addition to writing for ESNY, I'm also currently writing for Metsmerizedonline.
