Believe it or not, we have now entered Week 10 of the National Football League. Check out the Wolf’s Fantasy Football Sell High, Buy Low.

By Ryan Reynolds

As Week 10 of the NFL regular season approaches, the Fantasy Football season is rapidly coming to a close. With just about four games left in some leagues, this time of the fantasy season is crucial to any owner trying to make a run at earning a spot in the Winner’s Bracket.

Here are the Wolf’s Sell High and Buy Low picks for Week 10 as well as this week’s Waiver Wire Spotlight.

Sell High

Indianapolis Colts Running Back Frank Gore

Frank Gore hasn’t really produced as much as fantasy experts predicted. Gore is averaging around nine points. He’s had a few big games here and there, but he lacks consistency.

To owners who have to rely on Gore’s production, the inconsistent play could get annoying. I particularly have the 11-year veteran as a Sell High option this week because he played a decent game against the Denver and their No. 1 ranked defense. As the clock hit double zero, Gore finished with a touchdown and 83 yards on a season high 23 carries. He also had one reception for 19 yards.

The Colts offense looked solid all game with new offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski calling the shots. Maybe the Colts will rely on more of a run-heavy style offense? If that’s the case, Gore’s fantasy ceiling could be at this season’s all-time high. Gore owners should take advantage and shop him around.

Sell High

Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver Randall Cobb

Cobb is another player who’s letting down fantasy owners this season. The Green Bay receiver is playing with the reigning NFL MVP in quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but he just isn’t getting the amount of receptions he used to.

I have Cobb listed as a Sell High option this week because he had a stellar game against a tough Carolina Panthers defense. The 25-year old reeled in four passes for 99 yards and reached he endzone for the fifth time this season.

Cobb showed his true potential back in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs, catching seven receptions for 91 yards and 3 touchdowns. My suggestion? Use Cobb’s big game to your advantage and shop him around. There has to be an owner out there in need of a receiver, or at least an owner willing to give him a chance.

Sell High

Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver Antonio Brown

The star wide receiver for the Steelers enjoyed a record breaking game last week against the Oakland Raiders. Brown caught an eye popping 17 passes for an even more eye popping 284 yards.

Crazy numbers right? Well here’s the catch. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger left the game in the 4th quarter with a foot injury and is expected to miss “several” weeks. In every game Roethlisberger has started, Brown saw at least 10 targets in every one of those game and scored a touchdown in three out of the four.

With quarterbacks Michael Vick and Landry Jones leading the offense, Brown never once reached 10 targets and failed to reach the endzone. The impact of the Roethlisberger injury puts a major dent in Brown’s fantasy production.

It may be safe to trade him now as the Steelers are set to matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Denver Broncos in the upcoming weeks.

Buy Low

Oakland Raiders Wide Receivers Michael Crabtree & Amari Cooper

The Raiders are starting to look like a real contender in the AFC. They’re in the running for a Wild Card position and quarterback Derek Carr is have a great sophomore season. What’s even more surprising is the solid wide receiver duo of Michael Crabtree and rookie Amari Cooper.

Both pass catchers are having amazing seasons and are being slept on in fantasy leagues. Crabtree is averaging around nine points and is coming off two straight 100 plus yard receiving games. He has scored a total of five touchdowns this season and is averaging between five and seven receptions per game. In the last two weeks combined, Crabtree has caught a total of 14 passes for a total of 210 yards and three touchdowns.

Cooper on the other hand, is averaging 10 points and has posted a total of three 100 plus yard receiving games this season. Cooper has scored 4 touchdowns and looks to be the No. 1 target for Carr and the Oakland Raiders. Keep these two productive wide receivers on your radar and acquire them up if you can.

Buy Low

Tennessee Titans Tight End Delanie Walker

The return of quarterback Marcus Mariota really helped Walker’s fantasy production as he caught seven passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s overtime win over the New Orleans Saints. The win ended the Saint’s winning streak and most importantly ended the Titans six game losing skid.

Prior to Week 9, Walker has put up weak fantasy points. Maybe the injury to Mariota played a role in that kind of production? That could be a possiblity, but what we do know is that Mariota looked healthy Sunday and his chemistry with Walker was strong. The Tennessee tight end plays a major role in the Titan’s passing game and is worth looking out for in the coming weeks.

Buy Low

Indianapolis Colts Wide Receiver Donte Moncrief

Moncrief was on fire to start the year. At one point, he was averaging a touchdown in every game quarterback Andrew Luck started in. However, Moncrief is currently in a three-week drought. Over the past three weeks, Moncrief has managed to reach the endzone only once and is averaging 3 receptions and 30 yards per game.

If Moncrief is in a drought, why would I have him as a Buy Low option? Well, I believe that Moncrief’s fantasy potential is still there. The Colts are starting to play better under new offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski and Moncrief proved that he could produce elite-like fantasy numbers to start the year.

If your an owner that likes to invest in players, Moncrief is the player for you. He is currently owned in 80.6 percent of leagues.

Waiver Wire Spotlight

Buffalo Bills Running Back Karlos Williams

Karlos Williams makes for an excellent waiver pickup this week. Featured Bills running back LeSean McCoy exited Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, and Williams shined as his replacement. In Sunday’s win, Williams replaced McCoy and rushed for 110 yards on only nine carries while also adding two touchdowns. Williams has scored in all four games he’s played in and has posted two 100 plus yard rushing games.

The great thing about Williams is that he can also catch passes out of the back field which adds another great dimension to his game, and creates another way for owners to earn fantasy points. McCoy is listed as questionable, but with the Bills on a short week, McCoy is expected to play only a limited role in Thursday night’s divisional showdown against the New York Jets. Williams is currently owned in only 41.3 percent of leagues.

Trading players and making waiver pickups play a major role in successfully competing in a fantasy league. These are the Wolf’s Week 10 Sell High and Buy Low options tailored for every owner that wants to win.

Good luck to everyone in Week 10.
