New York Rangers Prospects Tom Gettinger, Sean Day and Lias Andersson Played Sunday in the WJSS.
The Rangers fifth-round draft pick Tom Gettinger scored a goal and fellow Rangers prospect Sean Day had a shot on goal and was a plus-1 in Team USA Blue’s 4-1 victory over Finland on Sunday in the World Junior Summer Showcase.

Rangers first round pick Lias Andersson, playing for the Team Sweden, was held scoreless against Team USA White in a loss on Sunday. Nickolai Bobrov, the organization’s director of European scouting, is in Michigan scouting the Rangers prospect throughout the tournament. As reported yesterday, Henrik Lundqvist unveiled his new goalie pads. They feature lady liberty on them. The pads were manufactured by Lundqvist long time equipment supplier, Bauer.
