New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski interrupts Sean Spicer’s press briefing during visit to the White House.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer just got Gronked.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski crashed Spicer’s White House press briefing on Wednesday. He opened a door behind the press secretary and asked, “Sean, need some help?”
The press secretary, who is a Patriots fan, responded by saying, “I think I got this but thank you.”
Gronk then asked Spicey “You sure?” before leaving the room. Spicer then said, “All right, that was cool.”

Gronk and 33 other Patriots players are at the White House to celebrate their win in Super Bowl 51 against the Atlanta Falcons. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady along with Danny Amendola, Dont’a Hightower, LeGarrette Blount, Martellus Bennett, Devin McCourty, James White, Michael Floyd, Chris Long, Dion Lewis, Patrick Chung and Malcolm Butler skipped the White House visit, according to TMZ. In addition to visiting President Donald Trump, the Patriots took a pic at the White House with their five Super Bowl trophies.
Gronk is probably better known for his hilarious antics than his performance on the field. Earlier this month he jumped into the ring at Wrestlemania and had Brady’s jersey with him at the Boston Red Sox opening day game.
Spicer is probably happy that this was just a Gronk prank and not a Saturday Night Live sketch about him.
