The scores don’t matter, but there’s still plenty of New York Yankees spring-training action to catch on radio and TV.
Somewhere, Allen Iverson is shaking his head, mystified by New York Yankees fans who want to watch practice games.
Don’t worry about him, though. The Bombers’ 2019 spring-training broadcast schedule is out, which means you now know when you get to play armchair Aaron Boone for the next few weeks.
New York plays 32 games this spring, 17 at home (George M. Steinbrenner Field, Tampa) and 15 on the road. The team also plays split-squad games on March 3, 10, and 17.
WFAN will carry 11 games on the radio, and YES Network will put together TV broadcasts for 12 contests.

The final game of spring will be at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
Other notable matchups include contests against Toronto, which offer chances to see the No. 1 MLB prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in action.
The Yankees have a couple position battles and other storylines to keep an eye on this spring as well.
Greg Bird and Luke Voit will battle for first base; Clint Frazier and Brett Gardner (and maybe Jacoby Ellsbury) will battle for dominance in left field.
Danny Farquhar is making an amazing comeback from a brain aneurysm, while prospects like Estevan Florial will try to make a good impression on the big-league club.
The final scores mean nothing. However, there’s always an excellent reason to watch or listen.
