This is just what everybody needs: New England Patriots suspended quarterback Tom Brady to speak for Donald Trump at the GOP Convention.
This is just fantastic. It’s what everybody needs right now.
Unless you’ve recently decided to live the simple life, you understand that Donald Trump has won the Republican nomination for the presidency of the United States of America.
Hell, even if you do live the simple life without any electronics or newspapers, you’ve probably gotten word on this.
Nevertheless, because Trump has captured this prestigious recognition, next on the agenda is squaring away the GOP Convention that’ll be held July 18-21 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
Obviously, expect the unexpected.
According to Nick Corasaniti of the New York Times, The Don had this to say:
“We’re going to do it a little different, if it’s OK. I’m thinking about getting some of the great sports people who like me a lot.”
“Our country needs to see winners. We don’t see winners anymore. We have a bunch of clowns running this country.”
A few possible candidates are Indiana basketball head coach Bobby Knight, NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger, NASCAR chairman and CEO Brian France and UFC president Dana White. All of whom are official Trump supporters.
Let the craziness officially begin. Or should I say, let it continue.
