A Twitter page called “Dumb Hockey Fans Say” is one of the more unique NHL feeds on social media.

Nearly two years ago, a hilarious Twitter page called Dumb Hockey Fans Say hit social media.

In the words of its biography, it posts “dumb tweets made by idiot hockey fans.” I kid you not.

The idea is ingenious: scour the interwebs for stupid comments, tweets, Facebook posts and more, and upload them in screenshot mode where the entire universe can see them.

Here are some examples:

Although Bella Castrichini evidently isn’t a hockey fan, I have trouble not cringing at this Tweet. I wonder if it ever crossed her mind that there might be a guy in hockey named Nash (you know, not of the Grier variety).

I’m not much of a Canadians fan, but lemme make this quite clear: Carey Price is the best goalie in the NHL. Injuries happen, even to Price. A “Pretty Boy Sellout?” Hmm….

Someone jumped the gun. There’s a reason Yogi Berra once said, “It ain’t over til it’s over.” It seems to be a universal hockey trend these days to assume the opposite.

This is something I can’t bash, as I’ve done it much of my life. But if this guy was serious, there’s too much absurdity on Twitter.

Oops.

Oh, the hypocrisy.

God help us all.

Hate to say this, but this comment is incredibly stupid.

Hmm…

Really now?

That’s his son. (Mic drop) ?

Eh…Not quite.

The struggle is real.

Wait… which one is it?

When you think Nazim Kadri is ISIS.

Think that Nazim Kadri is a supporter of ISIS? Believe that the Rangers are the originator of the “sticks in the air thing?” Then comment those thoughts below.
