New York Mets

Bartolo Colon will look to snap a personal five game losing streak on Wednesday night as his New York Mets will take on the Padres at Citi.

Now that Sandy Alderson has proclaimed the New York Mets “all in,” it’s time to begin a serious pennant running stretch. It continues tonight at Citi Field with the San Diego Padres.

Bartolo Colon (9-9, 4.60 ERA) will head to the mound looking to snap a personal five game losing streak against Padres starter Tyson Ross (6-8, 3.45 ERA).

Coming off Noah Syndergaard’s brilliant eight inning performance last night, Colon will have a tall task in front of him.

Meanwhile, the Mets offense continues to get the job done since acquiring Juan Uribe and Kelly Johnson. Even the captain David Wright was on hand Tuesday night to witness the offensive turnaround.

First pitch is slated for 7:10 pm ET at Citi Field.
