The New York Daily News decided to hammer former New York Yankees’ Paul O’Neill and Johnny Damon for their Donald Trump endorsement.
Leave it to the media to do the nation’s political hammering, slanting one view so far left or right that the middle evaporates quicker than anything.
And leave it to one of New York City’s newspaper’s to hammer those who endorse a presidential candidate who has made it fashionable to start hating again.
That’s exactly what the New York Daily News did as it relates to the two newest endorsements for Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
Thanks to former New York Yankees‘ Paul O’Neill and Johnny Damon providing their own stamp of approval on Trump for president, the News came out with not-so-transparent front-cover:
Tomorrow's front page:

If that doesn’t scream “classic NYC front page,” I don’t know what does. Paulie, Johnny: Be careful on what you say next about Mr. Trump, for the papers are always watching.
