Judging from his recent comments, former New York Mets’ outfielder Lenny Dykstra is clearly not a fan of current manager Terry Collins.

Former New York Mets’ centerfielder Lenny Dykstra, who was a part of the magnificent 1986 team, had his choice of words regarding current manager Terry Collins on The Jake Brown Show.

When asked about Collins on CBS, Dykstra replied:

“As long as Terry Collins is there, they’ll lose,” said Dykstra. “I can’t take him. He’s a joke. At our 30-year reunion he’s shaking everyone’s hand … I said you’re lucky you got good mother-(expletive) pitching … when he was in Houston and had Bagwell and Biggio, those guys hated him. When they hate you, that’s a problem. He’s never won. He’s a loser and he chokes. I don’t know how he has a job if you can’t win with those guys. He’s a losing manager.”

By the looks of it, Dykstra feels the same way about the current manager as many fans of the club do. There definitely has to have been a falling out between the two sides because the way he describes Collins is very descriptive and he seemingly has a deep hatred for the man.

It is not really evident where all this built up aggression comes from, but Dykstra certainly did not hold anything back.
