With Chris Capuano on the bump tonight, the New York Yankees will face an uphill climb against Martin Perez and the Texas Rangers.
If there’s one night to bet against your beloved New York Yankees, Tuesday would be the mark. With Chris Capuano (0-4, 5.64 ERA) on the hill, Joe Girardi’s club might have to score a bundle of runs tonight in Arlington.

Not only will the Yanks have to deal with backing up a pitcher who’s still looking for his first win of the 2015 MLB season, but a couple names from the bullpen might not be available. Capuano is receiving the spot start due to the Yanks not having an off-day during this 10-day road trip.
Girardi has opted to choose tonight as the “wash” night. Sometimes, clubs have to battle through these giveaway nights. Let’s see how the Yanks respond.
First pitch will be at 8:05 pm ET on YES Network.
