New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone continues to tinker with the starting lineup, replacing Giancarlo Stanton with Edwin Encarnacion.

The New York Yankees face their second-straight elimination game and Aaron Boone is going back to Edwin Encarnacion.

Giancarlo Stanton took over as DH in Game 5, but went hitless in three at-bats. It’s not completely clear whether or not this move was because of his hitless night or something related to the quad issue he’s dealt with during the American League Championship Series.

As both teams prepare to unfurl their bullpens in Game 6, the Yankees made sure to break up the right-handed hitters in the lineup.

Also notable, Chad Green will start for the Yankees. Green has been used extensively as an “opener” so this is nothing new for him.

The Yankees will clash with the Houston Astros in Minute Maid Park on Saturday night (8:08 p.m. ET).
