Fans have finally gotten the chance to see the first glimpse of superstar Kevin Durant’s brand new Brooklyn Nets jersey.

On Sunday night, the Brooklyn Nets got their free agency wish. The Nets signed superstar forward Kevin Durant, who had previously been a member of the Golden State Warriors.

Despite a ruptured Achilles that’ll keep Durant off the floor next year, the Nets will be able to have Durant and other free agent acquisitions Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan team up on the court for years to come.

It’ll be the NBA‘s newest “Big 3.”

And as of Monday night, fans got their first look at what one of Durant’s new Nets jersey will look like.

Durant signed a four-year, $164 million deal with the Nets, while Irving signed a four-year, $141 million deal. Jordan ultimately signed a four-year, $40 million deal.

While Durant is working his way back from the ruptured Achilles, Irving will have to run the show.

While the Nets got what they hoped for, the biggest losers of free agency were definitely the New York Knicks. The Knicks had the cap space to sign two free agents to max deals. They were only considering giving max deals to Durant, Irving and Kawhi Leonard.

With Durant and Irving now in Brooklyn and Leonard still considering the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers or returning to the Toronto Raptors, the Knicks had no choice but to go with plan B, which was to sign multiple veterans to shorter, less expensive deals.
