The New York Yankees have settled on 21 non-roster spring training invitees for 2019. One such player is prospect Esteval Florial.

Florial, 21, is a Dominican Republic product whose name now represents the very best of the Bombers farm system. Splitting time between three clubs in 2018 (rookie level), Florial hit a cool .283 with six home runs and 35 runs batted in while swiping 16 bags.

New York announced its 21 total non-roster invitees on Friday. The names surrounding Florial include 13 who were signed to minor-league deals.

The other eight are current Yankee prospects looking to make noise across Florida this spring.

The official spring training schedule kicks off on Feb. 23 when the team takes on the World Champion Boston Red Sox. Two days later, on Monday, Feb. 25 at 1:05 p.m. ET, the New York Yankees will christen George Steinbrenner field in 2019 against the Toronto Blue Jays.
