Former New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez gets nutty while making his Super Bowl commercial debut with Planters.
It’s about to get extremely nutty in here.
Former New York Yankees slugger and third baseman, Alex Rodriguez, is set to make his Super Bowl commercial debut in 10 days when the New England Patriots take on the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 53.
A-Rod and Planters. Rodriguez and Mr. Peanut lounging on the couch while playing the “throw the peanut in the mouth” game. Does it get any more phenomenal than that?
Perhaps. Actually, for sure, of course it gets better than that.
Nevertheless, this is the next television role Mr. Jennifer Lopez is set to showcase, via Kate Hogan of People Magazine.
“I’m so excited and thrilled to be a part of this,” Rodriguez said. “It’s really a dream come true. I’ve never been in a Super Bowl ad, and I sort of dreamed about it, but I never dreamed this high.”
Dream come true, huh?
He’s dating Jennifer Lopez, is one of the most recognizable faces in the world, and has a few bucks in the bank. I guess it was all en route to this career-defining moment. Well, we at least have to give it to the new Planters pitchman.
With all sincerity, A-Rod has become a marketing dream since his retirement from baseball. He’s perfect for the baseball studio with his awe-inspiring and surprising knowledge. He’s also great anytime he comes together with a brand.
Planters picked up a monster in Alex Rodriguez for this Super Bowl campaign.
