Brooklyn Nets center, Jarrett Allen followed up his LeBron James rejection with a posterization of Bulls rookie, Wendell Carter Jr.

Jarrett Allen is starting to garner some attention for his dominance at the rim. The Brooklyn Nets center made waves on Tuesday night when he sent LeBron James’ dunk attempt back like an undercooked steak.

He was at it again on Wednesday, but this time he was doing the dunking. Allen comes off of a down screen and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson found the big man right in front of the rim.

Wendell Carter Jr. is much like Allen in the sense that he’s not afraid to challenge guys at the rim. But this time, Carter was put on a poster. It happens to the best rim protectors from time to time.

Allen can be a menace at the rim on both ends of the court. His prowess as a rim protector and a lob threat is a big reason for Brooklyn’s recent success.

It’s easy to forget that Allen is only 20. He’s one of the most promising young big men in the league and he has yet to reach his full potential.

The Nets are trying to extend their NBA-best winning streak to seven against the hapless Bulls. Chicago is giving Brooklyn some problems early, but the Nets should be able to assert themselves as the game goes on.

Allen’s thunderous dunk was definitely the right way to start for head coach Kenny Atkinson’s squad. Let’s see if the Nets can continue their dominant streak. This probably won’t be the last time we see Allen making a highlight reel play.

Ok, we’ll show the LeBron block one more time for good measure.
