New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes erupts in disgust once realizing his beloved chain broke on the field after smacking a double.

Yo, this is why the chain must be tucked in at all times. If not, one of your prized possessions will break right there on the field for 10s of thousands to see in person and millions to eventually see on the television and on social media.

New York Mets slugger Yoenis Cespedes hit the most expensive double of his career on Wednesday night at Citi Field as his club is taking on the young Atlanta Braves.

Upon gathering himself after the double, Cespedes offers up a priceless reaction to finding out one of his chains had broken (video above).

It’s been a terrible, no good very bad night for the Amazins’ up to this point. Not only has Cespedes’ chain broken on him, but Jacob deGrom—who breezed through four innings—was forced to leave the game due to a hyperextended right elbow.

The injury shouldn’t raise serious concerns for the average starting pitcher, but when he’s wearing Mets colors, all bets are off. Thanks to recent injury history involving Matt Harvey, Noah Syndergaard and Steven Matz, the one man who’s been able to avoid the injury bug just went down for the count. How serious this count will be is still yet to be determined.

Thus far, deGrom has absolutely been the Mets one true bonafide ace.
