  • New York Mets (3-1)
  • Philadelphia Phillies (1-3)
  • NL, Wednesday, 1:10 p.m. ET, Facebook Live
  • Citi Field, Queens, New York

Facebook? Are you seriously talking about Facebook? There’s no Facebook in baseball.

Actually, there is and the New York Mets become the very first team ever to appear in a Facebook Live MLB stream when they take on the Philadelphia Phillies at Citi Field on Wednesday afternoon.

Noah Syndergaard will receive the start in this televised affair, bumping the SNY boys of Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling out of business for a day. He’ll oppose Phillies starter Aaron Nola.

The new Mets under Mickey Callaway are 3-1 on the young season and coming off a nicely pitched game by Matt Harvey, leading to a 2-0 victory in the first game of the Philly series on Tuesday night.

They’ll look to make it two in a row while streaming live on Facebook:
