After what seems like forever, we finally got to see an Aaron Judge bomb for the New York Yankees.

Well, last year we saw a lot of dingers from Aaron Judge in a New York Yankees uniform. Sunday afternoon, we got to witness the first of many to come this season.

During a 7-5 loss to the Miami Marlins, Judge went deep, crushing a homer to left field that left the crowd in awe.

Giancarlo Stanton hit one Saturday and Aaron Judge hits one Sunday. So I’m guessing that Gary Sanchez is next tonight at home against the Minnesota Twins?

The Bash Brothers are officially here and, guys, we are truly witnessing something special.

In Sunday’s contest against the Marlins, the Yankees got to meet up with an old friend in Starlin Castro. Castro, who was sent to Miami in the trade that brought Stanton to the Bronx, left on December 11 and found himself in yet another rebuilding situation with the Marlins.

According to Erik Boland of Newsday Sports, Castro has settled in after his big move down south.

Surprisingly, there was no Instagram story evidence of Castro’s meal with these Yankees, even though he seems to be emotionally attached to Instagram and a selfie king.

But it seems as though Castro is really settling into the role of a leader down south. Although only 27 years old, he is entering another franchise and hoping to get them to play playoff-caliber ball before likely getting trading again.

Poor Starlin. But, hey, at least he’s happy now. Do your thing, Castro!

And with a trip to play the Marlins, the Yankees can’t NOT have some news about Derek Jeter. The former Yankee turned Marlins executive took time to stop and chat with some reporters prior to the game.

Face it…even though he left the Yankees franchise you just can’t hate the guy. What a treat to see him happy and excelling in Miami! Now, can we get some pictures of his baby girl, please?

That’s all for today, folks. Tune in tonight to watch the Yankees take on the Twins at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL.
