New York Mets: Mickey Callaway and Yoenis Cespedes Dined Together

New York Mets’ Mickey Callaway and Yoenis Cespedes recently had dinner and their dinner conversation is not what you would have expected. 

Mickey Callaway has wasted no time touching base with his players since his hiring was made official in late October.

Callaway’s press conference was a strong start to his Mets career and one of the major talking points was the amount of care he and his staff wanted to provide the players.

Well, he started off on the right foot by recently taking his star left fielder to dinner.

One of the last activities you would probably least expect Callaway and Cespedes to bond over is hunting, but that’s exactly what they did.

Callaway is currently still connecting with all his players and putting together a staff, which is why it’s an exciting time to be a Mets fan.
