Charles Woodson calls Mike Francesa the “no fun police” after the radio host criticizes his ESPN show.

WFAN host Mike Francesa apparently isn’t a fan of ESPN—or at least not a fan of ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown.

Francesa called this week’s Monday Night Countdown “the worst display of a football pregame in the history of mankind.” He is especially not a big fan of the shows “C’mon Man” segment.

“All they did is this ‘C’mon Man’ thing where they have these stupid, I mean inane, ridiculous pieces of video from all over the country and have these guys yell ‘C’mon Man’,”  he said, via Brett Bodner of the New York Daily News. “If I was working on that I would be afraid to actually put that on the air, that’s how bad it was.”

Twitter user BackAftaTHis tweeted a clip of the segment to Charles Woodson, who is an analyst on the show. Woodson responded by saying Francesa is “exactly the kind of guy we want out of football” and called the radio host the “no fun police.”

It will be interesting to see how Francesa responds to Woodson’s comments. If we know anything about Mike, it’s that he always has to have the last word.
