New York Yankees: Starlin Castro Out of Lineup, At Dentist
NEW YORK, NY - AUGUST 31: Starlin Castro #14 of the New York Yankees reacts after he hit a double as Xander Bogaerts #2 of the Boston Red Sox falls back to control the ball during the fourth inning of a game at Yankee Stadium on August 31, 2017 in the Bronx borough of New York City. It seems that Starlin Castro has biten off more than he can chew since his return to the New York Yankees and is out of the lineup for today’s game.

Instead of being a thorn in someone’s side, Starlin Castro has a pain in his mouth. The New York Yankees second baseman apparently lost a tooth last evening.

According to Bryan Hoch, Castro lost a tooth last evening and has been at the dentist for four hours.

But what is with the Yankees and their teeth? First Aaron Judge and now Castro?

However, according to Brendan Kuty of NJ.com, it was a fake tooth. And it also doesn’t seem to be a baseball-related injury.

I mean, what was he eating? Seriously, I can even begin to image what he would bit into that could cause such damage besides a boulder.

Regardless, the Yankees will have to take on the Red Sox without Castro.

Well, it defines this season to a T. Freak, strange injuries resulting in good players missing games.

Dear Gods of luck, please stop torturing our Yankees. We’ve had enough.
