New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius returned to the Bronx in style on Friday night with a double in his first at-bat as well as a diving catch.
New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius has returned from his right shoulder injury and has wasted no time in getting back to his productive ways.
In his first at-bat of the season, Gregorius laced a double to right-center field off Kevin Gausman in the bottom of the second inning, but was left stranded there as the inning came to an end.
The left-hander has had an impressive return so far which includes a diving play at short in the top of the second inning to add on to his double in the same inning.
