New York Yankees: Luis Severino draws birthday gift for Didi Gregorius (Video)

In honor of New York Yankees‘ shortstop Didi Gregorius‘ birthday, Luis Severino decided the perfect gift would be a baseball where he showed off his art “skills”.

In honor of New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius recently turning 27-years old, pitcher Luis Severino decided he would draw up a gift for his teammate with his lackluster art skills.

Severino took to a baseball with a pen and drew his best representation of Gregorius standing at the plate as well as a pitcher throwing the ball to him on the opposite side.

Judging by his drawing skills on this baseball, Severino should stick to his baseball career and not pursue a profession which involves him drawing in any way, shape or form.

The right-hander is currently battling in spring training along with a few others for the final two spots in the Yankees opening day rotation. In his first appearance of the spring, Severino pitched two scoreless innings while giving up no hits.

Who knows, maybe the ball will be placed in a case by Gregorius and help be the Yankees lucky charm in leading them to the World Series. This probably won’t be the case, but one can hope.
