The New York Giants‘ season is officially over and some are blaming it as a result of a boating trip, head coach Ben McAdoo feels otherwise.

According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN, head coach Ben McAdoo doesn’t feel the New York Giants boating trip had anything to do with the team’s crushing loss to the Green Bay Packers.

There really shouldn’t be any correlation between the team’s outing in Miami seven days ago to Sunday’s blowout loss, but there will always be those who try to come up with some crazy conspiracy.

The only thing that the Giants should be blamed for regarding their loss to the Packers was their inability to capitalize. Time after time they had opportunities to score, but instead they dropped balls in pivotal spots.

While many fans do not want to hear it, the connection between this boating outing and the team’s loss in the Wild Card round will most likely linger for a while until a new hot sports topic comes about.
