New York Yankees ‘Baby Bomber’ Tyler Austin took to social media on Sunday to give fans a blast from his past.

The vast majority of major leaguers have been playing the game of baseball since they could walk and this is no different for New York Yankees first baseman Tyler Austin.

Austin took posted a picture on Twitter Sunday afternoon of him as a very young ‘Baby Bomber’ in his uniform at the age of about five or six. The caption the 25-year old put was, “As promised in my interview yesterday, here’s a picture of me on my first ever baseball team.”

Quite ironic to say the least that not only were the Yankees Austin’s first big league team, but they were his first organized team he ever played for as a young buck.

With that being said, the question that the first baseman should be asked now is whether or not his first at-bat with those Yankees ended the same way it did with the Bronx bombers, with him rounding the bases.
