Upon hearing the news that Bartolo Colon will be signing with the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets’ Noah Syndergaard broke out in all sorts of emotion.

As expected — and like most fans out there over the five boroughs — New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard just can’t handle the idea of Bartolo Colon heading down to Hotlanta.

As reported by Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, Big Sexy will be signing a $12.5 million deal with the Atlanta Braves for the 2017 season.

Upon hearing the news, Thor wore his emotions on his sleeve the only way Thor knows how:

No more Big Sexy plate appearances. No more Big Sexy home runs. No more Big Sexy nimble field plays. No more Big Sexy t-shirts.

It’s all about the youngsters now.

Could Colon’s departure be appropriately compared to Jack Black kicking Baxter off the bridge? Oh, I absolutely believe so.

This one will be rough for all Mets fans.
