Former New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter recently tied the knot with well-known model Hannah Davis, but could the marriage be short-lived?
You would think it is far too early for marriage troubles, right? Well, it appears as if it is never too early.
According to a report from Terez Owens, a sports gossip blog, former Yankee and retired five-time world champion shortstop Derek Jeter and is new spouse, Hannah Davis (Jeter), are already living “separate lives.”
According to insiders close to both the website and the situation, who shed light on the happenings, it is Davis’ family who has not been accepting of Jeter. Despite the respectful efforts of the captain, who apparently asked Hannah’s parents for their daughter’s hand in marriage, the family has not been inclusive of Jeter in gatherings, causing the 42-year-old to stay away quite often.
Included is the fact that Davis’ family does not like Jeter’s family as well, shocking simply due the respect Derek’s parents and siblings have gained throughout the years.
So, while the Yankee legend did get married after a history of playing the field (no pun intended), there is the chance this lifetime commitment can break apart sooner rather than later.
