British superstar Adele recently said no to the offer of performing the Super Bowl Halftime Show. What’s next?

Adele has turned down an offer which would showcase her talents at Super Bowl 51’s halftime show.

Quite frankly, I was actually pretty happy when I heard that Adele turned down the offer. Adele is very talented, don’t get me wrong, but that’s not the right venue for her. The Super Bowl halftime show is supposed to be fun and upbeat. “Hello” would put everyone to sleep.

The Super Bowl is in Houston, Texas this year. As much as I would love to see a Texas native like George Strait do the halftime show, I realize that isn’t as appealing to the masses as it is to myself.

Instead, I came up with three realistic possibilities who could do the halftime show.

Justin Bieber

Bieber seems like an obvious choice. I must be honest, I hated Justin Bieber from the get-go, but that all changed in 2015 once he changed his style and started releasing banger after banger. “What Do You Mean,” “Sorry”, “Love Yourself” or his latest “Cold Water” he’s been on fire.

“What Do You Mean,” “Sorry,” “Love Yourself,” or even his latest hit, “Cold Water.” He’s been on fire.

Even if you don’t like him you have to recognize that just about every big song from the last year was from Justin Bieber.

The main point of the halftime show is to bring in an audience that doesn’t care about football. Bieber is appealing to the masses and spreads to a wide variety of people who normally wouldn’t watch football.

Next: Sia & Sean Paul

Sia & Sean Paul

I know what you’re thinking. Isn’t she the one who covers her face and stuff?

Yeah, she does some weird stuff but once you get past that she actually has some pretty good songs.

Her song “Cheap Thrills” with Sean Paul has been the biggest song of the summer. Her hits also include “Chandelier,” “Elastic Heart,” and “Titanium,” which was a hit back in 2012.

Here’s where Sean Paul comes in. He would obviously come out to do “Cheap Thrills” with Sia. If you remember, in 2015, Katie Perry had Missy Elliott come out and perform with her. How cool would it be to hear Sean Paul go into “Temperature” at the Super

How cool would it be to hear Sean Paul go into “Temperature” at the Super Bowl?

It’d be like 2006 all over again. If you’re like me, that was the go-to song at every sixth grade dance or Bar Mitzvah you ever attended. The song still kills and I turn it up every time it comes on to this day. That would be a fun combo for the halftime show.

Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart

This one’s a bit of a hot take. A comedian doing the halftime show? Will people actually like this?

Well, let’s be real, every year people complain about the halftime show. I can’t remember the last halftime show that was actually good.

So why not change it up?

Kevin Hart is big enough to sell out football stadiums on his comedy tour. Why not give him a microphone and let him go to work?

He’s in a ton of movies, people recognize him, and he’s funny as hell. He’d just have to clean up his comedy act a little bit, but I still think this one has potential.
