Zack Wheeler going to see Dr. Andrews. Elbow discomfort.

It’s never a good thing in sports when you hear the news of an athlete going to see Dr. Andrews. Zack Wheeler is going to have to see the doctor again, due to discomfort in his elbow. Wheeler was expected to return from Tommy John Surgery in July before having set backs.
Just another domino falling. The injury bug has absolutely crippled the New York Mets this year. They already lost Matt Harvey, Lucas Duda and David Wright for the year and it seems unlikely that Wheeler will see the mound in the big leagues this year.
The crazy thing is there was a report last week that Brewers were insistent on Zack Wheeler in a Lucroy deal. That would’ve been a debacle.

It’s almost crazy to think that the Brewers were willing to take this guy on in a deal for Jonathon Lucroy. Sad to see what injuries have done to this team, a team that had World Series asperations.
When it rains it pours.
