New York Mets’ Noah Syndergaard Taunts Miami Marlins’ Home Run Sculpture (Tweet)

Well then. Tell us what you really think about the Miami Marlins crazy statue out in the outfield New York Mets starter Noah Syndergaard.

New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard is apparently not a fan of the Miami Marlins home run sculpture in center field at Marlins Park.

After dominating the Fish for seven innings for the win on Friday, Syndergaard decided to take one last shot at Miami and their sculpture.

The signature feature at Marlins Park is a sort of psychedelic, animatronic, seathemed neon home run sculpture. Syndergaard thinks it’s pretty hideous, according to his tweet above.

Syndergaard did give up a home run to Marcell Ozuna but other than that, was lights out.

Through this, Syndergaard continues to not only excel on the mound but also entertain off of it with this latest diss of the sculpture.

He just continues to make us love him more and more not only him as a pitcher but as a person too with his competitiveness and also his sense of humor as well as we saw here.

Other than God, sports are my biggest love. My teams are the Mets, Knicks, NY Giants, NY Rangers and St Johns basketball (St. John's alumni). I especially love the Mets like crazy, more than any other team and seeing them win the World Series would be a dream come true and definitely the best sports moment. The Knicks are a close second. I also like to write, so combine that with my passion for sports equals a perfect scenario, I would love to do sports writing long term. If not that, then probably sports broadcasting, cause I love to talk sports as well. In addition to writing for ESNY, I'm also currently writing for Metsmerizedonline.
