New York Mets

Matt Harvey was dominant on Memorial Day just 6 days ago. Can the Dark Knight continue to impress?

Matt Harvey showed the New York Mets’ faithful that he is the real ace of this pitching staff and nobody is taking that from him.

Today, Harvey faces a tough opponent in the Miami Marlins’ young ace Jose Fernandez. Fernandez had some encouraging words to say about the Met’s righty in the New York Daily News.

“I have no doubt, zero doubt, that he’s going to be back and he’s going to be back to where he normally is,” Fernandez said. “His last start was great. I think everybody who knows baseball and that plays, knows that he will be just fine.”

The Dark Night of Gotham better not let the Marlins and Fernandez be his Bane to start out this game. The Mets offense could barley get him one run last start, imagine them trying to dig out of a hole like the one Fernandez poses.

I have been a passionate sports fan my whole life. It started from when my parents would take me every year to Yankee Stadium for Old Timer's Day. I enjoy all sports but baseball is my favorite. I am a proud father of a beautiful little girl and manager at AT&T.
