New York Yankees

With the New York Yankees hosting the Houston Astros in the second game of the season, Michael Pineda will get the nod.

  • New York Yankees (0-1)
  • Houston Astros (1-0)
  • AL, Today, 7:05 PM on RTSW, YES, Full Preview
  • Yankee Stadium, Bronx, New York

After falling by a score of 5-3 to the Houston Astros on Opening Day, manager Joe Girardi and the New York Yankees will turn to Michael Pineda in game two.

We all know the deal with Pineda. If his slider is on the money, he’s a top of the rotation guy. But if his slider isn’t working, watch out.

Behind him will be a lineup that’ll look as regular as it gets. Unlike the sight of Aaron Hicks playing on Opening Day, in facing the lefty Dallas Keuchel, Brett Gardner will play left-field and bat second.

The rest of the lineup follows suit.

First pitch will come your way at 7:05 PM ET from the Bronx.
