The Brooklyn Nets are riding high after their upset win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday. They will need to put those rare feelings of excitement aside for tonight’s game against the Indiana Pacers, a team fighting for their playoff lives.

The Nets are winless in two opportunities against the Pacers this season, scoring an average of just 98.5 points and shooting just 43.1 percent from the field in the contests. The Pacers are third in the NBA in defensive efficiency (99.8 points per 100 possessions) and seventh in opponent’s points per game (100.1), so another offensive struggle from the Nets should be expected.

This will be a difficult test for sharpshooter Sean Kilpatrick, the Pacers hold teams to 33.1 percent shooting from behind the arc, good for third in the NBA.

Brook Lopez will have the matchup of the night against Pacers’ rookie big man Myles Turner. Turner is red hot over his last five games, averaging 25.9 minutes, 11.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, on 51.9 percent from the field. Lopez is having another Lopez season, so this one will be interesting.
