New York Mets

With the year 2015 about to shut the door, we offer certain things New York Mets fans should expect this coming season in 2016.

As 2015 comes to a close we start to reflect on just how wonderful season the New York Mets put together for their long suffering fans.

They won the National League East Division for the first time since 2006. They then went on a deep playoff run, capped off by an unexpected trip to the World Series. It was the first time since 2000 that the Mets reached the World Series.

Although they fell short of their complete goal, losing to the Kansas City Royals in the World Series in five games, considering six straight losing seasons was the unfortunate streak in the clubhouse, it turned out to be a great and unforgettable season for the Mets in 2015.

So, as 2016 draws near, we ask ourselves what Mets fans be hoping for.

Here are a bunch of what the Mets and their fans should hope to see next year:

Other than God, sports are my biggest love. My teams are the Mets, Knicks, NY Giants, NY Rangers and St Johns basketball (St. John's alumni). I especially love the Mets like crazy, more than any other team and seeing them win the World Series would be a dream come true and definitely the best sports moment. The Knicks are a close second. I also like to write, so combine that with my passion for sports equals a perfect scenario, I would love to do sports writing long term. If not that, then probably sports broadcasting, cause I love to talk sports as well. In addition to writing for ESNY, I'm also currently writing for Metsmerizedonline.
