After coming off two disappointing losses, Noah Syndergaard and the New York Mets will look to get off to a flying start in Game 3.

It’s too bad superheroes don’t exist in real life, for if they did, Terry Collins would surely hand the ball to one for Game 3 of the World Series.
On second thought, if Noah Syndergaard can pitch the New York Mets to a victory, the Big Apple might start carrying his nickname of Thor as gospel. With New York in a devastating 2-0 series hole, Game 3 at Citi Field became nothing short of must win territory.

In this matchup of phenom fire-ballers, Syndergaard will oppose Yordano Ventura, a guy who’s been known to lose his composure out there on that mound. Mets fans will surely get after him tonight.
The lineups remain relatively intact as compared to Games 1 and 2. Amid speculation that Juan Lagares would receive the nod in center, it is Michael Conforto who’ll start in left with Yoenis Cespedes in right. For Kansas City, Kendrys Morales will sit without use of the DH.
