The one certainty surrounding the New York Yankees as it pertained to the AL Wild Card Game was that their $155 million man would be receiving the ball.

How could he not in this most pressurized, critical of situations?

Masahiro Tanaka will oppose AL Cy Young Award contender Dallas Keuchel for the right to take on the defending AL champion Kansas City Royals in the ALDS.

Everything else was up in the air. That was, until, now. The Yankee have officially announced the entire 25-man roster for this, the AL Wild Card Game against the Houston Astros.

Girardi will carry nine pitchers. This is a little surprising considering he might have been able to get away with just eight.

Speedster Rico Noel did make the cut, as did super catching prospect Gary Sanchez.

Stay tuned for the lineup. First pitch comes your way at 8 PM ET from Yankee Stadium.
