The New York Mets are back on a mini two-game win streak thanks to Matt Harvey’s eight splendid innings against the Colorado Rockies.
Yet again it looked as though Matt Harvey would have to shut down the offense he faced. It always seems to go that way due to his New York Mets rarely providing some comfy run support.
Harvey clang onto a 1-0 lead during his eight-innings of no-run, four-hit ball that featured four strikeouts.

It was 1-0 until the Mets put together a three-run bottom of the eighth. Juan Lagares did the most damage thanks to his bases-loaded two-run double.

This proceeded a bases-loaded Curtis Granderson walk, the same such walk offered up by Rockies lefty Boone Logan.
Recently acquired Eric O’Flaherty came in to shut the door.
The Mets have now taken the first two of the series and will look to take Game 3 of this four-game set Wednesday night.
