The newly-minted first place New York Mets will take get right back it in Miami against the Marlins tonight.

How they took over sole possession of first place was with their dominating 12-1 victory last night coupled with a Washington Nationals loss.

Tonight it’s Jon Niese’s (5-9, 3.63 ERA) turn as he’ll oppose Marlins starter Brad Hand (1-2, 5.12 ERA).

With a record of 56-50, the Mets will look for their fifth-straight victory tonight.
