With the recent news that Michael Pineda has gone to the DL, the New York Yankees will send C.C. Sabathia to the mound in Arlington tonight.
Flat-out craziness has occurred in New York City Baseball over the course of the last 24 hours. From Carlos Gomez not coming, to Wilmer Flores showing great emotion, to Michael Pineda and Ivan Nova hurting, both teams are feeling a bit of hurt at the moment.
On Thursday night, the New York Yankees will look to get some solid momentum started again. Due to scheduled starter Pineda going on the 15-day DL, Joe Girardi will send C.C. Sabathia (4-8, 5.38 ERA) to face Yovani Gallardo (7-9, 3.19 ERA) and the Texas Rangers.
