The New York Yankees turnaround quickly and face the Rangers in Texas tonight with Ivan Nova on the hill and Alex Rodriguez in the lineup.

Completely rolling is how one would describe the New York Yankees momentum at the moment. Having won seven of nine since the 2015 MLB All-Star break, they’ll use Ivan Nova as they face the Rangers in Texas tonight.

Nova (2-3, 3.34 ERA) is looking for his third victory of the season during his brief 2015 MLB campaign as he’ll take on lefty Matt Harrison (1-1, 5.40 ERA).

Jacoby Ellsbury will get the night off for Joe Girardi’s club with Brett Gardner shifting to center and Chris Young playing left-field facing the lefy. Brendan Ryan will get the nod at second-base.

For Alex Rodriguez, he’s celebrating his 40th birthday against the club he spent three seasons with around the turn of the century.

First pitch is slated for 8 pm ET on ESPN.
