The New York Mets welcome Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers into Citi Field Thursday night after worst loss of season.
After Wednesday afternoon’s debacle which saw the Washington Nationals put up three runs in the bottom of the eighth and come away with the rubber-game victory, the New York Mets will welcome in the Los Angeles Dodgers.
It won’t be just the Dodgers, it’ll be Clayton Kershaw (7-6, 2.68 ERA) on Thursday and then hot as a firecracker Zack Greinke on Friday.

For the Mets it’ll be nine-game winner Bartolo Colon (9-8, 4.86 ERA) who takes the ball from Terry Collins.
Let’s hope there’s no reason for Terry Collins to essentially say “my bad” after this one.
First pitch is schedule for 7:10 in Flushing.
