After questioning why Marshawn Lynch didn’t warrant a 99 in the trucking rating in NFL Madden 16, EA Sports classically responded.

Long story short, the official score is EA Sports one, Seattle Seahawks zero.

Over the course of the last 24-48 hours, EA Sports has released the top players ratings for each position for the brand-spanking new NFL Madden 16.

One of these guys is Marshawn Lynch.

Beast-mode earned the top spot in the running back category with an overall rating of 96. However, his franchise questioned a certain aspect of his ratings. While he received a 99 stiff arm, he was one off with a 98 trucking rating.

Which led to a not-so-harmless Tweet:

Ouch. Yeah that’s right, the good folks over at EA Sports went there. They’re of course referencing Pete Carroll’s decision to throw the ball on the goal-line in last season’s Super Bowl instead of handing it off for the championship clincher.

The Seahawks weren’t done of course:

Neither was EA Sports:

Just another example of classic fodder happening between the video game world and the real world. Kudos EA Sports, you take the trolling trophy of the day.
