Matt Harvey heads to the hill with the New York Mets invading Washington D.C. to take on the first place Nationals.
Two games is what separates the New York Mets and Washington Nationals for first place in the NL East.
It would’ve been one game if the Mets offense could’ve just managed more than seven runs over 36-innings against the St. Louis Cardinals this past weekend, but I digress.
Tonight, Matt Harvey (8-6, 3.07 ERA) will be handed the ball to face lefty Gio Gonzalez (6-4, 3.99).

Luckily for everybody, Keith Hernandez will be absent from the booth at SNY tonight.
