New York Mets

New York Mets starting pitcher Matt Harvey not only limited Arizona to just two-runs, he hit his first career MLB home run.

Get ready for all the cute and silly catch-phrases as New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey had a day.

For example, “the Dark Knight has risen again.”

Not only did Harvey limit the Arizona Diamondbacks to just two-runs and four-hits while striking out nine batters in seven-innings, but he cracked his first-career MLB home run today.

If Harvey hitting a home run wasn’t enough, the struggling Lucas Duda finally hit a dinger himself which now makes the second-straight game with a homer.

The Mets will look for the sweep tomorrow at Citi Field.
