Following a disappointing 4-3 loss on Tuesday night, the New York Yankees load up with Jacoby Ellsbury and Andrew Miller back.
For Jor Girardi it’s like Christmas in early July.
No, New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman didn’t strike a deal to bring in Jeff Samardzija (yet). Instead, the club is welcoming back two of the better players in outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury and relief pitcher Andrew Miller.
Tonight at The Stadium, the Yanks will look to bounce back from that rough 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday night.
C.C. Sabathia (3-8), 5.59 ERA) will take the hill for the home team as he opposes Scott Zazmir (5-5, 2.56 ERA).
