Just as he’s getting prepped for his Major League Baseball debut today against the Red-Legs, Steven Matz shows the world his spinning.

By Robby Sabo

Very often we see professional athletes use the internet to show off some of their other talents. Normally, because they’re super athletic, we see other athletic feats.

Take New York Giants wide-out Odell Beckham Jr. for example.

His athletic prowess doesn’t just stop on the football field. He can dunk like LeBron James, hit home runs like Alex Rodriguez, and even pitch like Matt Harvey.

It’s why this one is strange yet refreshing.

Check out New York Mets super pitching prospect Steven Matz.

His talent is spinning almost anything on his finger. Not only does it strike us as strange that he’s spinning a freaking couch cushion, but his buddy is just chilling there. I doubt anything would’ve have phased that dude cradling the basketball.

Matz is set to make his MLB debut today against the Reds.
