New York Mets second-baseman, Dilson Herrera, comes up with a sparkling glove flip today against the Atlanta Braves.

While it may be too soon to proclaim Dilson Herrera the new full-time second-baseman for the New York Mets, it’s getting close to that time.
Ever since coming off the disabled list, he’s made an impact not only with his bat, but with sparkling plays in the diamond with his glove.
In the bottom of the eighth-inning with the Mets clinging to a 10-8 lead, Jeurys Familia needed a big out. That’s exactly what he got from Herrera.
With Braves slugger Freddie Freeman up, Herrera ranged to his right to absolutely rob the lefty of a base hit which would’ve put runners on the corners. In one motion, he flipped the ball to Wilmer Flores at second in just enough time to get the speedy Cameron Maybin.
Herrera provides this team with exactly what they need up the middle: a legitimate defensive presence to backup a phenomenal pitching staff.
