New York Knicks‘ Kristaps Porzingis made a post alluding to the 76ers, and Joel Embiid joked at a potential team up with the unicorn.

Trust the process. When New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis used the three-word sentence made famous in Philadelphia on Instagram, Joel Embiid took notice.

Michael Lee of The Vertical tweeted out Embiid’s response to Porzingis’ post (via Bleacher Report). Porzingis captioned, “Hold the vision, Trust the process.” Embiid couldn’t resist, countering with “Cuz you’re coming to Philly? TTP”.

This isn’t the first time Embiid has commented on Porzingis possibly coming to Philly.

The big man threw out another gem on Twitter amid the chaos of KP skipping his exit meeting with Phil Jackson.

Despite only playing 31 games so far, the 23-year-old has joined Porzingis as one of the NBA’s best young prospects. The 76ers are expected to take the next step in 2017-18 after years of losing on purpsoe (tanking) while the Knicks are expected to go the tanking route.

The idea of Porzingis and Embiid playing on the same team at some point somewhere down the road doesn’t seem all that crazy. If the Knicks continue to lose, Porzingis won’t stay happy. If he’s happy at all.
