In trying to become the first team to hand the champs their first loss, Brook Lopez came up a little strong. They’ll turn to Hawks tonight.
Brooklyn Nets (1-9)
Atlanta Hawks (8-4)
NBA, Eastern Conference, Tonight, 7:30 PM
Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York
What’s a team to do when they came within a fraction of defeating the only undefeated team left in the NBA? Well, get right back up on that horse and go again.
This is what Brook Lopez and the Brooklyn Nets will do tonight as they welcome in the Atlanta Hawks.
The excruciating loss comes in reference to the Nets overtime disappointment against the defending champion Golden State Warriors Saturday night. With just a few ticks left on the clock, Lopez had a point blank shot to win the game in regulation, but was a little too strong with the shot.
Tip-off from Barclays Center comes your way tonight at 7:30 PM ET.
